One very small act of kindness can't white wash away the years of systemic abuses the police have subject the public to. How many black youths have you searched under PACE? How many people have you section 5d for a swear word or section 50d because you didn't like their behaviour? How many people have you searched under section 43 because you can? How many times have you turned a kind eye to your colleagues dodgy behaviour? How many complaints have been lodged against you? And finally, I bet you can't recite any of the oath you took when you became a police officer! The force needs a top to bottom shakeup because the public has lost faith and trust in you.
